About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and strategic People & Culture Business Partner to lead our HR function across both retail and head office teams. This role is pivotal in fostering a high-performance culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring our people strategy aligns with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in training and development, implementing HR strategies, and enhancing workplace culture within a retail and corporate environment.
 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic HR Leadership 

• Develop and implement a People & Culture strategy that supports business growth and enhances employee experience. 

• Lead and execute HR initiatives across retail and head office teams. 

• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, workplace policies, and best HR practices. 

• Lead internal communication to ensure consistent, transparent, and engaging messaging ensuring employees are informed and updated on company announcements. 

Training & Development 

• Design and implement training programs to enhance skills, performance, and leadership development across all teams.

• Build a learning culture that fosters growth, engagement, and career progression. 

• Partner with department heads to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning solutions. 

Talent Management & Employee Engagement 

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent. 

• Drive performance management initiatives, including goal setting, coaching, and succession planning. 

• Develop and implement engagement programs to enhance company culture and employee satisfaction. 

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners as needed to support recruitment and HR strategies for both Head office and Retail. 

• Drive and promote KIVARI’s core values through events that foster collaboration and build culture. 

Operational HR & Compliance 

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance across all locations. 

• Manage employee relations, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution. 

• Ensure accurate HR reporting, workforce planning, and HR analytics to inform decision-making. 

About You 

• HR Degree or equivalent qualification. 

• 3+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on training, development, and strategy implementation. 

• Proven experience in retail and head office environments. 

• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, compliance, and employment law. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

•  Ability to drive culture transformation, engagement, and employee performance.

•  Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to HR operations.
